This privacy notice for Wild Mountains Trust (doing business as Wild Mountains), referred to here as "we", "us" or "our", describes how and why we might collect, store, use and share your information when you visit our website or engage with us through sales, marketing or events. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our services.

What information we collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on our services, make a purchase, express interest in our work, or otherwise contact us. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:

  • Debit and credit card numbers and billing addresses, where you make a purchase

We do not process sensitive personal information, and we do not receive information about you from third parties.

Payment information

If you make a purchase, we collect the payment data needed to process it. All payment data is stored by our payment processors, Stripe and PayPal, under their own privacy notices. We do not store your full card details on our own systems.

Analytics and maps

How we use your information

We process your information to provide, improve and administer our services, to communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with the law. We process your information only when we have a valid legal reason to do so, and we keep it only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this notice.

Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 years of age. If you believe we may have collected information from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your rights and the law that applies

Personal information is collected and processed under Australia's Privacy Act 1988, and, where relevant, New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020. Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. The easiest way to exercise these rights is to contact us.
