Corporate Volunteering
Join forces with your team to make a positive impact on people and the planet. Spend an enriching day at Wild Mountains wildlife refuge, taking part in landcare, rainforest repair, and facility maintenance.
Does your employer actively prioritise sustainability practices and community involvement? Are you looking for hands-on activities that make a real difference? Depending on your needs, we can also incorporate wellness activities to help your team connect with nature. You will make progress towards your CSR goals while strengthening bonds within your team.
To cover preparation, training and supervision costs, we charge a program fee of $1,250 plus GST per day. We currently offer corporate volunteering for up to 25 volunteers; larger numbers may be accommodated with notice. (Fee current as of January 2024.)
What happens on the day

Hear the story of Wild Mountains and how we help people and our planet.
- 02
Tour our facilities and grounds. Our buildings are made from recycled materials, and we live completely off the grid. Afterwards we’ll take you for a short hike to the giant strangler fig.
- 03
Roll your sleeves up, with the sounds of nature in the background, while we get stuck into some landcare, rainforest repair, or building maintenance.
- 04
Break for lunch, either BYO or catered by us.
- 05
Finish your tasks and celebrate your team’s efforts with group photos and plenty of high-fives.
Good to know
- Up to 25 volunteers is a great team size for us; talk to us first about larger groups.
- It is best to arrive as early as possible (8:45 am), especially if you need help ferrying people up the mountain in our 4WD vehicles. We usually finish around 4 pm.
- Catering is vegetarian, and we happily accommodate gluten-free, vegan and dairy-free diets. Catering attracts an additional fee.
- Payments are non-refundable, but we will do our best to accommodate a change of date (up to two changes) if an alternative date is available.
- We are on a 230-acre property in the Queensland Border Ranges, west of the Gold Coast. The nearest towns are Rathdowney and Beaudesert.
